Llangollen's music festival is held every July for (6) six days. Bookings for hotels are essential during this period.

The Ladies of Llangollen is located south east of the town. It is a monument to their devoted friendship.

Snowdonia National Park is the second largest national park in Britain after the Lake District. This is the area that the first successful team trained for Mt Everest.

At Llanberis take the vintage and modern locomotives to the summit of Snowdon. The trip will take you about an hour and the view at the summit is just fabulous.

Blaenau Ffestiniog was the centre of the mining industry during the 19th century. Slate mining does continue here but on a much smaller scale. The town is predominately a tourist attraction.

Harlech Castle is now a World Heritage Listed Site. It was built between 1283 and 1289. It was the last castle to fall during the war of the roses.
